The Organic Gardening Calendar provides landscaping and gardening tips and tasks for every weekend of the year. It has been developed to provide you with everything you need each month to maintain your organic planting, feeding and garden maintenance plan for your flowers and vegetables, lawn and landscape all year long. It is not an annual calendar, rather a montly planner that can be used year after year.
The Calendar was developed to help you plan, track and schedule all of your garden and landscape tasks including preparation, sowing schedule, fetilizing, pest control, etc). The calendar is a tool that combines years of research and information gathering and the methods that I have used successfully in my landscape and gardens for years. It will tell you what to do when so you don't have to plan it out yourself.
About the Calendar
The Calendar features gardening projects each weekend throughout the year. It provides information regarding seeding and planting dates; and garden tasks like fetilizing times and lawn reminders. Each project is scheduled for a weekend based on the season and the climate in the Northeastern United States. Additional regional calendars will be provided in the future, however the Calendar does provide charts to make calculating indoor and direct sowing times based on your average last frost dates. These charts can be used to customize your gardening plan for any region. By providing a full Month calendar you can consider the weekend tasks as monthly tasks as well and just cross them off as you complete them that month. Or you can choose to stick with the schedule.
